The Service Dog Alliance Network
The Service Dog Alliance Network (SDAN) is a collaborative resource dedicated to providing purpose-bred, purebred, and service-bred prospects to reputable service dog organizations across the United States. Built on more than 38 years of proven Labrador Retriever bloodlines (through LifeLine Service Dogs) with a 96% career success rate, SDAN offers a Graduate Guarantee*—ensuring that each dog is specifically selected, bred, and prepared to meet the high demands of service work. By focusing on genetic stability, temperament, and health, SDAN significantly improves return on investment (ROI) for partner programs, reducing the industry’s average 80–85% washout rate common in rescue-based or non-purpose-bred models. SDAN works privately with organizations nationwide, supplying started puppies and stud services to strengthen breeding programs and meet the growing demand for qualified service dogs. With a foundation rooted in data, generational consistency, and the urgent need for reliable service dog outcomes, SDAN is positioned to be a leader in shaping the future of service dog availability, quality, and success.

Q: What breeds?
A: LifeLine Service Dogs program are Labrador Retrievers. Health tested through Embark and the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). SDAN is comprised of a few different breeders/Organizations but primarily you will see Labradors, Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds. Inquiries welcome if searching for a breed not listed.

Q: What is a Grad Guarantee?
A: Our Grad Guarantee is a one of a kind promise that protects the bottom line of organizations and individuals who know how much money is heading out the door on canines that can not graduate service dog training. In the industry it's called a "washout".
Under this guarantee, if a prospect washes out (even with our 96% service dog success) we will accept the prospect back and place another prospect with you, free of charge. No one has this guarantee in place right now , except SDAN. That's how much we stand behind our "know-how"!

Q: How old are the available prospects?
A: The age range for prospects is between 12 weeks of age - 18 months of age.

Q: What training/experiences do the prospects have prior to placement?
A: At LifeLine puppies are started when they are 48 hours old. Imprinting and development are absolutely crucial during the formative weeks and is a big reason we have such a high success rate. When breeding meets development , it's game-changing.
1. We begin by introducing scent to our puppies and meticulously prepare our whelping area to foster optimal environmental conditions for healthy joint development. During these early days, we implement the proven Bio-Sensor. Additionally, we have a thorough comprehensive environmental enrichment program, along with essential developmental learning areas.
2. With each progressive week, we imprint each puppy as they continue to learn more and do more all while maintaining focus. By the time our puppies are 12 weeks old, they already know Sit, Here/Come, Leave it, Place, crate trained and are walking on a leash like pro's!

Q: Do prospects have recommended vaccinations and worming schedules?
A; Absolutely, all prospects are UTD (up to date) on all vaccines and worming schedules.

Q: How is health verified before placement?
A: No prospect leaves before being throughly evaluated by a licensed Veterinarian. We clear for worms, parasites and viruses and get that in writing from a Veterinarian.

Q: Are the breeding Sires and Dam's cleared for hips and elbows?
A: Absolutely, both structural and genetic screenings on each canine are completed through Embark and the OFA to uphold responsible breeding practices. The genetic test through Embark includes over 163 different disease screenings/clearances.

Q: What's the cost of prospects?
A: That really depends on the level of training and age of the K9. You're welcome to email us at The Service Dog Alliance Network . We are happy to share that organizations who've contracted with SDAN have reported significant increases in the graduate numbers! Service bred dogs just do better and that's better for the bottom line. One organization reported budget difference of $67,000 in savings (which increased the program funding in other areas)! That's the difference we know canines bred to work can make for an organizations ROI.
